As we live out these God-given values, we will maintain our commitment to be good friends to others, and not just act “friendly.” We will do good works, motivated not to gain attention or to earn respect, but because we have been so loved by God that love flows from us to others. We will share the Good News by following Jesus’ instruction in Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
