Today’s message is the third and final one in a series of messages on spiritual transformation. In this message, Pastor Chris teaches us that the two “producers” of spiritual formation are the human soul and the Holy Spirit. In the earlier messages, we saw how our heart and our character produce our actions. We add to this model four dimensions of influence on our heart: our bodies, social environments, thoughts, and feelings. Our souls are what binds our spiritual lives together, integrating the dimensions of our lives so we grow more like Christ. But our souls cannot produce this growth without the Holy Spirit in us. It is this union of our souls with the Spirit that continually produce new life in us.
