Pastor Chris teaches us a powerful lesson on the purpose of the church, which is to support believers in being transformed into the image of Jesus. This transformation comes through grace from God; we cannot do it on our own. However, God will not work in us without our engagement and involvement. When we actively seek for God to transform us, God works in our hearts, our “command center,” so that our actions are more loving and our character more closely resembles Jesus.
