As we approach Christmas, Pastor Chris brings our attention to the visit by the angel Gabriel to Mary, who was the first person to hear of the coming of Jesus. In Gabriel’s discussion with Mary, we find four statements of good news that are true for us just as they were true for Mary: God is with us, we do not need to be afraid, Christ’s kingdom has no end, and nothing is impossible with God.
