Later, Pastor Chris shares insights from the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth, the parents of John the Baptist. Zechariah and Elizabeth were old and childless when God gave them a child, and Zechariah had trouble believing this joyous news. But for Zechariah, and for us, God’s promises can be trusted, God’s purposes for us are good, it is never too late for God to act, and we are never too far away for God to reach us.
